CLAVIERE / CESANA

Claviere-Cesana: these 2 ski stations are a part of the Milky Way ski area alongside Sestriere, Sauze d'Oulx, Sansicario and the French resort of Montgenèvre offering over 400 km of runs, with a large part of these having snow cannons.
In the area at 1350 m with Cesana at 2800 m at the top of Motta, which offers a great view of all the mountains around, allowing the skiers to taste the huge area.
The villages are on the border but on Italian soil, built at a strategic point during past wars. The small villages have become well known over the years for skiing and it's natural beauty. Easy to find a place to stay in hotel and eat with the typical dishes on most menu's in one of the famous restaurant.
